Patch Pockets

Patch pockets can add function and decoration to a garment. They may be lined or unlined.

Patch pockets are usually found on casual clothes such as jeans, shirts and aprons. Edges are finished by turning under to the wrong side, pressing then stitching. On rounded edges the extra fullness may need to be gathered slightly and notched out to allow the pocket to sit flat.
